When Gisele’s grandmother passed away, she wasn’t afraid that she had died — she was afraid the world would never know how magnificently she had lived.

A lifetime of courage, wisdom, sacrifice, laughter and love can never fit on a headstone. Not with just a name and two dates.

And so, StoryStone was born!

Each tile is 80 × 130 mm and made to order, with the QR code set to your loved one’s memorial page. Your monumental mason can fix it to an existing headstone, or we can work with them on a new one. You can add a tile to your memorial when you choose your plan.

A StoryStone is only created for the person who holds the right of interment, the executor, or someone acting with their written authority — never for just anyone.

Every Stone Is Unique

Each StoryStone carries its own serialised code, and the memorial only goes live once the account holder is verified.

Protected in a Dispute

Because we host every memorial, we can pause or freeze a page if authority is ever challenged — following the rights holder, the cemetery, or a court, never taking sides.

Cemetery-Approved Fitting

We ask you to confirm approval from the cemetery or relevant authority before your StoryStone is fitted, so every memorial is placed with respect and permission.
